Christmas Kettling 2024 - Performers needed to ring in the festive cheer!

Overview
The Salvation Army will be holding our annual Christmas Kettling fundraising activity from 25 Nov to 22 Dec, from 11 am to 9 pm. We are looking for Christmas-related performances that will help us usher in the spirit of Christmas and encourage people to donate. As the performances will be taking place in various malls around Singapore during the Christmas season, we would suggest to give your performances a Christmas theme. We have previously fielded bands, choirs and singing acts. Due to the nature of the malls, we suggest musical performances are best.
All performances will be auditioned and we will notify you of your successful acceptance. To enquire, do send over a short description of your performance to Volunteer@smm.salvationarmy.org along with a video of the performance. You may film your audition on a mobile phone if need be. Successful applicants will be notified by e-mail
The purpose of this event is to raise more than $300K to help the disadvantaged and underserved. From transforming and empowering their lives, we serve a broad spectrum of causes across different community segments. We care for vulnerable children in our homes and foster/community-based settings, and those with incarcerated parents. We also help families facing hardships, elders dealing with social isolation and dementia, as well as migrant workers eking out a living and facing challenging circumstances.
